Beautiful weather outside, but the days in Serbia, as well as throughout Europe and the world, are far from beautiful and ideal. The virus-induced pandemic, which has already infected more than 100 people in Serbia, has halted and canceled many events and competitions, including all football leagues across the continent.

In the meantime, Vojvodina football players are trying to follow the recommendations they received, including the central back Slavko Bralić, 27, who has just settled in the red and white team.

– Indeed, none of us has ever been in the situation of being completely healthy and ready, but yet having a forced break in the middle of the season. Unfortunately, everything stopped and at first I was very surprised by it. Basically, I still can’t believe what is going on. However, we have to adjust, so my wife and I are practically not even leaving the house – says Bralić.

The Croatian international points out that as long as this situation persists, he will remain in Novi Sad, and notes that the club takes care of its players in such circumstances as much as possible.

– In a short time, I have convinced myself a few times that Vojvodina is a big club, even now in these extraordinary circumstances. Although we do not train or play games, the people who run the club have fulfilled all obligations to us and we will especially have to thank them and return them for that on the pitch when the league continues. In addition, we received clear instructions from the coaching staff on how to maintain fitness during an emergency, independently and without contact with other people – Bralić notes.

The guy born in Split came to Vojvodina this winter and has already completely adapted to the new environment.

– Everything is great in the club and the city is really beautiful. There are many different types of content, so my wife and I really feel fantastic here – said Bralić.
