On Wednesday, Vojvodina will play a match in Round of 32 in Serbian Cup. In a competition in which it has reached the finals seven times so far and once managed to win the trophy, Vojvodina will for the first time meet with Zlatibor from Čajetina, currently the 10th-ranked team in the First League of Serbia.
For Voša, this match comes after an unpleasant defeat from Voždovac at Karađorđe, which caused the Old Lady to fall from first to second place in the table, but according to the assistant coach of red and whites Vidak Bratić, that defeat did not and must not demoralize his team, from which he expects to qualify for the next stage of the competition.
– All of us who work in Vojvodina have high goals when it comes to the Serbian Cup. Zlatibor is in the rank below us, but it is very good at home and two years ago made a surprise by defeating Radnički from Niš. It is a strong and solid team, which has many experienced, but also young and talented players, who have played in the Super League as well. However, we are ready and cautious and know what our goal is, and that is to move to the next phase of the competition. Anything else would be a failure for us – said Bratić, adding that there are no injury problems in the team of Vojvodina, and that all players are healthy and ready to play.

– We are expecting a tough match and that is why we need to get into it as seriously as possible. Zlatibor is a team that doesn’t conceed many goals and has not lost at home for a long time, so each of us players must give his best and show solidity and aggression, because that is the only way we can get to the Round of 16 – said Devetak.
The match between Zlatibor and Vojvodina will be played on Wednesday at 3:30 pm at the Švajcarija Stadium on Zlatibor, and if there be no winner after 90 minutes, the penalty kicks shall be taken immediately.
