After the placement of his team to the Round of 16 of the Serbian Cup, the assistant coach of Vojvodina Vidak Bratić stated that the red and whites came to the lead on time and thus directed the game into the flow they wanted.
Vojvodina today qualified to the Round of 16 of the Serbian Cup, having beaten Zlatibor 1-4 (0-2) in the Round of 32.
– We knew Zlatibor is an awkward team, especially at home, but I think we scored on time and opened the game properly. After that we scored the second goal and after that everything was easier. We managed to score two more goals, one we have conceded from a penalty, but it is irrelevant, all that matters is that we have made it to the Round of 16. Now we turn to the match in Lučani and starting to prepare for that match. It will surely be a very tough and difficult match for us. However, as always, we have to play and go for the victory, in order to achieve our goal and return home undefeated – said Bratić.
The match between Mladost and Vojvodina in the 10th round of the Super League of Serbia will be played on Sunday in Lučani, starting at 6 pm.
