Season 2019/20 will remain inscribed in golden letters in the 106-year-long history of FK Vojvodina as the season in which the Old Lady won its second trophy in the Serbian Cup. Therefore, next season, Voša will represent our country in the qualifications for the Europa League, and it will start the competition from the second round.

Besides in the Cup, Vojvodina played excellently in the league this season, where in the end it took the third place, with only two points less than the second-placed Partizan, and it managed to win a place on the international scene through the league competition too. It should also be noted that the red and whites achieved nine away league victories this season, which equals the record from the seasons 2010/11 and 2012/13.

Of course, all players gave a great contribution to the achievement of these results, with the proviso that, in the traditional selection of fans on the website FKVojvodina.com, as the best player of the season was named the most experienced one – captain Nikola Drinčić.

The great 35-year-old midfielder spent literally every second on the pitch this season, as he played all 35 games in both competitions and was not substituted even once. He scored two goals and had eight assists, which, along with Petar Bojić, makes him the best assistant in Voša this season. He took over the captain’s armband in the half-season after the leaving of Ranko Veselinović, and he made a great gesture after the Cup final in Niš, when he handed over the armband to Emil Rockov and thus enabled someone who grew up in Vojvodina to lift the winning trophy. Without any dilemma, Nikola Drinčić is the true leader of this generation of red and whites, both on and off the pitch, so he convincingly won first place in the selection of Vojvodina fans, which has been organized since 2005. After Drinčić, the closest to this flattering recognition were the previous double laureate Emil Rockov, Siniša Saničanin, Petar Bojić, etc.

On the other hand, the title of the best scorer of Vojvodina this season was taken by Petar Bojić, who scored a total of seven goals in both domestic competitions, followed by Dejan Zukić with six, Miljan Vukadinović with four, etc. Admittedly, Bojan Matić scored as many as nine goals for Vojvodina this season, but he joined Partizan in the winter transfer window. Petar Bojić is also the best assistant in Vojvodina, since, just like Nikola Drinčić, he achieved a total of eight assists in the league and the Cup this season. Aranđel Stojković remained behind this great tandem with four assists, while Ognjen Đuričin, Stefan Đorđević, Siniša Saničanin, Bojan Matić, Eze Vincent and Nemanja Nikolić had two assists each.
