The state of emergency in Serbia has officially ended, and the competition in the Super League will continue on May 30. According to the decision of the Football Association of Serbia, only four rounds will be played by the end of the season, as well as the final rounds of the Serbian Cup, and Vojvodina players on Monday again started training at their FC Vujadin Boškov.

According to the president of FK Vojvodina, Vojislav Gajić, the club has successfully overcome the crisis period and continues to achieve its goals.

– With great joy and in a good atmosphere, we received the news about the end of the state of emergency and the continuation of the football competition in our country. We believe that the right decision was made not to play the play-off and play-out this season, so we are completely focused on being as ready as possible to welcome the remaining matches and confirm the quality we showed in the previous period. Although the virus stopped the competition for a while, our goals have not changed and we remain focused on performing on the European scene next season – says Gajić.

During the state of emergency, the Board of Directors of FK Vojvodina took the utmost care of the players and employees of the club, making sure that they, even in such circumstances, were paid full salaries.

– I have to commend the players, the members of the coaching staff and all the employees for their attitude towards their obligations in the past period. This has once again shown that the club is functioning steadily, and the previous period we have used even to improve the condition of the pitches at FC Vujadin Boškov, which are now at a more than satisfactory level, just like all other conditions for training and stay of our players – emphasized Gajić.

In the first next round of the Super League, which is on the program on May 30, Vojvodina footballers will welcome Čukarički, and it is certain that the red and whites will play two or three friendly games by then.
