Today, Vojvodina will play its last match on the preparations in Slovenia. Starting at 6 PM, at the stadium in Brežice, the rival of the red and whites will be Gorica, who will play in the Second League of Slovenia in the upcoming season.

It is a club founded in 1947, which in its history so far changed its name eight times. The last time, it happened in 2003, and since then it exists under the name ND Gorica (Football Society Gorica).

Last season, this team took the ninth place in the First League of Slovenia and then got relegated to the second division, which is the worst season in the history of the club, taking into account that until that time, among with Maribor and Celje, it was the only team that had never been relegated of the first Slovenian league since the independence of this country.

Also, it should be emphasized that Gorica so far has been the champion four times (last time in 2006) and won the Cup of Slovenia three times (last time 2014). It plays at the stadium with a capacity of 3,200 seats and at home it plays in blue-white, while in away matches it plays in completely white equipment. Coach of the team is Slovenian Saša Kolman, who, in addition to Slovenians, in his squad has one citizen of Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Nigeria.

The Manager of Vojvodina, Nenad Lalatović, is expected to give a chance to play on this match to the players on who he counts on for the first round of Super League of Serbia against Mačva.
