In the premiere match of the 12th round of the Super League of Serbia, tomorrow Vojvodina will play against Čukarički in Belgrade. The expectation of the sports public is that this will be an extremely interesting and uncertain match, as will meet two teams that have the ambition to play in the Europa League qualifiers next season.

Consequently, it will not be easy for any team to come to victory, but the atmosphere and optimism in the squad of the Old Lady hint that Voša could continue with successful results this fall on away matches. FK Vojvodina’s president Vojislav Gajić points out that this match is of the utmost importance for the red and whites and calls on fans to support the team in Belgrade.

– We are going to have a match against a team that is near the top of the table, but our coach and players, with the support of our fans, have already shown that they can return with a good result from such away games. I have no doubt at all that our team will show maximum commitment against Čukaricki, and with the support of our fans, who on this occasion I invite to come and help their team, I believe we can win – said Gajić.

The Manager of Vojvodina Nenad Lalatović is also optimistic about the match in Belgrade.

– Perhaps the toughest game this season is waiting for us. I spent a year and a half in that club and I can freely say that it is one of the most organized clubs in Serbia, led by a man who always fulfills all the wishes of the players and that is why they are satisfied there. However, the same is the case in Vojvodina, where Vojislav Gajić provides us with everything we need for quality and smooth work. The atmosphere in our team is great, there is noise in the training and the players are training well – said Lalatović, adding that in this match because of the card suspension he will not be able to count only on the U-21 national team member, 20-year-old Mladen Devetak, while all other players are ready.

At left-back position, Devetak is likely to be replaced by 23-year-old Nemanja Vučić, who has shown that he is in good form and with a great potential during the last friendly game against Brescia.

– I think it will be one hard and difficult match in Belgrade, in which the experience or possibly some move of an individual can decide the outcome. Čukarički has a great team, and I would especially like to point out Bogosavac, whom I know personally and who, in my opinion, has repeatedly shown that he is the best left back in Serbia. Nonetheless, we will go for the win. The atmosphere in our team is great, we are all “tight” and we can’t wait for the match to start – said Vučić.

The match between Čukarički and Vojvodina will be played tomorrow from 6 pm in Belgrade, with a live broadcast on the first channel of Arena sport television.
