On the penultimate day of preparations in Belek, Vojvodina will play its fifth friendly match in Turkey this winter. At 1 pm Serbian time, the red and whites’ opponent at the Susesi Sport Center will be Freiberg, currently the 14th-ranked team in the fifth German division. It was originally planned for Vojvodina to play a friendly match against Dinamo Moscow today, but since the Russian club canceled the match, the replacement was found in this German fifth-division team.

Freiberg was founded in 1973 by the fusion of two clubs, SGV Heutingsheim and TSV Beihingen. In its history, it played solely in the lower German ranks, and the coach of this team is former Vojvodina player Milorad Pilipović, who wore the Old Lady jersey from 1977 to 1982. At his disposal, he has a squad comprising, in addition to the domestic players, one more footballer from Italy, Croatia and Turkey.

The Manager of Vojvodina Nenad Lalatović announced that at today’s game he will give an opportunity to one lineup to play all 90 minutes.
