In the ninth round of the Serbian Super League, Vojvodina will play against Inđija away tomorrow. For the red and whites, this match comes after the elimination from the qualifications for the Europa League and the match against Standard, in which they were defeated on Thursday after 120 minutes of a great fight in Liège.
However, according to the words of the Manager of the Old Lady, Nenad Lalatović, that is now behind them, and the players have completely turned to their obligations in domestic competitions.
– I am glad that the Football Association accepted our request and enabled us to play this match on Monday, because we had an extremely hard 120 minutes in Liège on Thursday, from where we returned on Friday at five o’clock in the morning. However, regardless of the day more for rest and training, we will definitely have a very exhausting match against Inđija for several reasons. We will certainly not change our goals and we will do our best to achieve a good result in the derby in the north of Serbia – said Lalatović.
The match between Inđija and Vojvodina will be played on Monday at 4 pm, with a live broadcast on the first channel of Arena Sport television. Due to the known epidemiological situation, this match will also be played without the presence of spectators.
