After a draw of his team against Borac, Vojvodina’s Manager Nenad Lalatović said that he is pleased with the performance of his players and the final score of the match.

Vojvodina played a draw 1-1 (0-0) tonight against Borac, in a friendly match played in Banja Luka.

– Although it was a friendly match, lots of fight and tackling were seen on the pitch. We could win and lose, but I think that in the second half we were closer to the win, since Matić and Nešković had 100-percent chances for scoring. We conceded a goal in a counterattack, and equalized thanks to phenomenal shot by Drinčić. I am pleased with the result, although it’s not so important to me, because on Tuesday and Wednesday we had two strong training sessions and on Thursday we travelled to Banja Luka, so the players feel a little tired. I am also satisfied with the approach to the game by the players, who have showed that they have the quality and deserve to be at the second place at the table. I will give my best for Vojvodina to qualify to Europe League qualifications, because our fans and Novi Sad as a town absolutely deserve to watch their team in Europe next season – says Lalatović.

He also expressed his gratitude and appreciation to Vojvodina’s host from FK Borac and citizens of Banja Luka for a lovely welcome.

– I feel nice everywhere, so it was also the case here. Banja Luka is a beautiful town and people are very friendly. They accepted me and my players very nicely, and when you see that someone appreciates you, then you can bring only good memories from there – says Lalatović.

Next Friday, Vojvodina will be playing in Niš against Radnički, in eight round of Super League of Serbia.

– I expect a very hard and difficult match, which, by my opinion, will be even harder than the one against Red Star. I spent one beautiful year in Niš and had only two defeats, thus achieving all possible records in club’s history. I know that the crowd is very noisy over there and that they love their club and their town very much, so it will not be easy for us at all – emphasizes Lalatović.

The match between Radnički and Vojvodina is set for next Friday in Niš, starting at 6 pm.
