After his team’s victory over Brežice, Vojvodina’s Manager, Nenad Lalatović, said that his priority is to return the Old Lady to the European football scene.
Vojvodina beat Brežice today with a score of 1-8 (1-1), in a friendly match played in Terme Čatež.
– I can generally be satisfied with the team’s performance in this game, especially in the second half. In the first half, a lot of young players played, and it is obvious that they need some time to impose and lead the play of Vojvodina, so the club and fans for them must have patience, because my priority is to return Vojvodina to European scene. As for the other part of the game, it is superfluous to comment on anything. We scored seven goals, played a high pressure for all 45 minutes, dominated, played a good game, pulled out from the second plan, had a realization… Simply everything was flawless and for every compliment – said Lalatović.
By his decision, players of Vojvodina tomorrow will not have a morning training, but will instead have a one-hour stay in the swimming pool, and with training they will continue in the afternoon, when they will again run out on the pitch in Terme Čatež.
