Former president of FK Vojvodina Milutin Popivoda has passed away today after a brief illness at the age of 72.

He was born on March 6, 1949 in Lovćenac, and headed the Vojvodina Football Club in the 1993/94 season, when the Old Lady was the autumn champion of Yugoslavia and eventually finished third in the standings.

He graduated at the Faculty of Economics in Subotica, and at the beginning of the 1990s he worked as the Marketing Director of Radio Television Novi Sad and then the Marketing Director of Radio Television Serbia.

Due to the state of emergency in Serbia, the funeral will be done exclusively in the presence of the closest family and relatives.
