In the second round of the Serbian Super League, Vojvodina will meet Čukarički at Karađorđe tomorrow. After the draw against TSC in the first round, Voša is expecting a match against another of the contenders for placement on the European scene next season, so it is certain that it will not be easy for the red and whites to win.
According to the words of the striker Momčilo Mrkaić, who scored his first goal this season against TSC , the Old Lady could have reached the triumph already at the game in Senta.
– We won a point, although we managed to reverse the result after that strange penalty for the home team. We put a lot of effort to annul their advantage and turn the match in our favor, and I think we deserved to win. However, what happened, happened. We forgot that match and moved on – says Mrkaić.
Voša will not have an easier task against Čukarički either.
– It is certain that another difficult and hard match awaits us. Čukarički has good players, they play well and they started the season well. However, the game will be played on our pitch and I hope that, as time goes on, we will raise our form more and more. Therefore, we believe that we can win for the first time this season – Mrkaić points out.
Due to the situation with the corona virus, the match will be played without the presence of spectators.
– The fact that there is no audience affects every team that plays at home, because everyone is used to having support from the stands. However, this situation has been going on for some time and I can say that we are practically used to it. We are focused on the pitch and what the boss demands from us, and the most important thing is to win three points – said Mrkaić.
