Vojvodina has defeated Radnik from Surdulica with the result 2-0 (0-0), in the eighth round of the Serbian Super League.

In the match that was played without the presence of spectators at Karađorđe, the scorers for Voša were Bojić in the 56th minute and Čović in the 65th minute (p).

The teams performed in the following lineups:

Vojvodina: Vukliš – Andrić (from 81st Maksimović), Bralić, Devetak, S. Đorđević – Drinčić, Zukić (from 57th Mladenović) – Vukadinović (from 81st Pantelić), Čović, Bojić (from 75th Đuričin) – Mrkaić (from 57th Stojković).

Radnik: Kostić – Stevanović, Bogdanovski (from 68th Dimitrić), Lukić (from 46th Pavlov), Makarić (from 58th Spasić) – Danoski (from 68th Stamenković), P. Đorđević, Kričak, Stojanović – Jović, Mitošević.

The first opportunity in the game was seen in the 11th minute, when, after a corner kick, Čovic took a header, Kostić defended, and then Mrkaić tried to score with his head, but Radnik’s goalkeeper reacted well again. On the other hand, the guests retaliated in the 20th minute, when Lukić was left alone in front of Vukliš and shot, the goalkeeper of Vojvodina defended, the ball then bounced to Lukić who sent the shot again, but Voša’s gaolkeeper of reacted great once again.

In the second half, Vojvodina took the lead in the 56th minute. Drinčić tried to shoot from about 18 meters, one of Radnik’s players blocked him, but the ball then got to Bojić, who brought the red and whites into the lead from about six to seven meters.

Already in the 65th minute, a penalty was called for Vojvodina, after Bojić ran again alone in front of Kostić, who fouled him in the penalty area, so the referee Marko Ivković from Lajkovac called for a penalty. Čović was a reliable penalty taker, thus increased the advantage of his team.

Despite the safe lead, the red and whites were the team that attacked more in the continuation of the game, but new opportunities were missing, so the match ended with the result 2-0 for Vojvodina.
