Special guests of FK Vojvodina at this match were around 70 boys from the Youth Academy of FK Borac from Banja Luka, who watched the match from the western stand of Karađorđe. On the pitch, already in the eighth minute, a penalty was awarded for Vojvodina. In the penalty box of the away team, Stojković was tackled by Bjeloš, and referee Srđan Jovanović called for a penalty. A secure executor of the penalty was Matić, who brought his team into the lead.

However, in the 28th minute, the team from Kruševac managed to equalize. After a cross from the right, Zec jumped well in Vojvodina’s penalty box and with a precise header from around seven meters distance managed to even the score.

Only four minutes later, Ivanović tried to beat Rockov directly from the corner kick, but Vojvodina’s goalkeeper punched the ball into a new corner kick, after which Đorić shot well, but the ball went over the goal. On the other hand, Voša returned in the 56th minute, when a good volley-kick from fifteen meters distance was sent by Devetak, but the ball went inches above the crossbar.

An even better chance for the red and white came in the 64th minute, when Vincent brilliantly ran into an empty space, went past one Napredak player and came out in front of goalkeeper Miloseviš, but the ball, after his shot, hit the post of the visitors’ goal. Vincent kicked well two minutes later too, but this time Miloseviš defended.

In the finish of the game, the ball was almost constantly in the possession of the players of Vojvodina, and their persistence paid off in the 86th minute, when they scored the second goal. After a cross from the right, the ball came to Gemović, who kicked and scored, as it turned out, a winning goal for his team.
