After the victory of his team over Radnički, Vojvodina’s assistant coach Dragan Šarac stated that a great fight was seen during the game and that it wasn’t easy for Voša to triumph.
Vojvodina beat Radnički today with a score of 1-2 (1-1), in the eighth round of the Super League of Serbia.
– A match full of tension throughout all 90 minutes, between two good opponents… Radnički phenomenally entered the match and in the first 15-20 minutes created several opportunities and managed to take the lead. We managed to get back and score on time, and at halftime went with a draw. In the second half we relied on counter-attacks, one of which we did not use, but the other we did thanks to a phenomenal strike, which the keeper failed to defend. It was difficult and it is very inconvenient to play here, because Radnički is a good and quality team. However, we managed to persist, and on this occasion I congratulate both teams on a good performance – said Šarac.
In the next round, Vojvodina will play against Voždovac from Belgrade at home.
