Vojvodina played 0-0 against Čukarički in the 27th round of the Super League of Serbia.
In front of around 1,500 spectators at “Karađorđe”, the teams performed in the following lineups:
Vojvodina: Rockov – Graovac, Veselinović, Saničanin, Devetak – Mitošević, Milojević – Đuričin (from 62nd Gojkov), Đurić, Srećković (from 73rd Vincent) – Matić (from 46th Conneh).
Čukarički: Stevanović – Docić, Mudrinski (from 77th Tedić), Kopitovic, Kamenović – Owusu (from 73rd Luković), Kajević, Stojanović (from 55th Birmančević), Đorđević – Veličković, Šapić.
The first big opportunity in the match was seen in the 20th minute. In the middle of the pitch, Matić fought for the ball and gave it to Mitošević, who immediately passed it to Đuričin, and he, in a one-on-one situation with the defender of the away team, managed to get into the position for the shot from about 11-12 meters, but Stevanović defended his goal.
Although it was not hinted, from that moment until the end of the match, there was practically no serious chances on the pitch. Vojvodina’s players have expressed greater desire for victory than their rivals, but the defense of Čukarički successfully stopped all their attacks, while in some moments, red and whites with their own rush or a bad final pass missed the opportunities to come into the lead.
On the other hand, on several occasions Čukarički tried to endanger the goal of Vojvodina from the counter-attacks, but all their strikes in the goal range were easily defended by goalkeeper Rockov. The match ended goalless, so each team won a point.
