Vojvodina advanced to the semifinals of the Serbian Cup, as it has beaten Mladost in the quarterfinals tonight after a better penalty shootout.

In front of around 1,000 spectators at Karađorđe, after 90 minutes of play, the result was 0-0.

The teams performed in the following lineups:

Vojvodina: Rockov (from 93rd Simić) – Andrić, Bralić, Saničanin, Đorđević – Drinčić, Stojković – Vukadinović, Bojić, Čović – Mrkaić (from 71st Gemović).

Mladost: Zečević – Krajišnik, L. Jovanović, Odita (from 71st Pavlović), Mićović – Bojović, Radivojević, Ješić (from 83rd Kijevčanin), Milošević – P. Jovanović, Šatara.

The first opportunity in the match was seen in the 21st minute. Drinčić took a free kick for Vojvodina from around 25 meters, but the ball went a few centimeters over the bar. From that moment, the red and whites constantly had the initiative on the pitch, but they waited for a new chance until the 66th minute, when Čović played a pass to Bojić in the penalty area, and he took a shot from around ten meters distance, but the ball went a few inches past the goalpost.

Even closer to the lead, Voša was in the 79th minute, when Drinčić took a corner kick, one of Mladost players kicked the ball, and then Đorđević sent a volley from around 25 meters distance, but the ball hit the crossbar. On the other hand, Mladost responded from the counterattack in the 85th minute, when Radivojević shot from around seven to eight meters distance, but the ball went a few centimeters outside the goal range.

Vojvodina had another opportunity in the 94th minute, when Drinčić played a lob pass to Čović, and he ran into the penalty area and shot, but the ball went a few centimeters past the goalpost. Shortly afterwards, the match was over, so the penalty shootout started. The penalty series went as follows:

first series: Bojović scores a goal for Mladost, Čović scores a goal for Vojvodina;

second series: Pavlović shoots next to the goal, Vukadinović scores a goal for Vojvodina;

third series: Šatara scores a goal for Mladost, Gemović scores a goal for Vojvodina;

fourth series: Lazar Jovanović scores a goal for Mladost, Stojković scores a goal for Vojvodina;

fifth series: Radivojević scored a goal for Mladost, Drinčić scored a goal for Vojvodina, and the Old Lady advanced to the semifinals with a 5-4 penalty win.
