Vojvodina was defeated against Voždovac 1-2 (0-0) in the ninth round of Super League of Serbia.

In front of around 4,000 spectators at Karađorđe, the scorer for Voša was Nikolić in 67th (p), while goals for the away team were scored by Stanisavljević in 62nd and Nikolić in 64th minute.

The teams performed in the following lineups:

Vojvodina: Rockov – Stojković, Veselinović, Saničanin, Devetak – Drinčić, Gemović (from 64th Kokir), Vincent (from 59th Đuričin), Bojić – Matić (from 58th Zukić), Nikolić.

Vojvodina took the initiative from the start of the game and had bigger ball possession, but the first serious opportunity was awaited until the 28th minute, when Bojić played a perfect pass into penalty box towards Matić, who shot from around 10 meters distance, but the ball went several inches near by the post.

After that, the red and whites continued to attack, but in 62nd minute, Voždovac took the lead. Stanisavljević got the ball on the right side of the pitch, entered the penalty box and then with a brilliant shot from around 15 meters sent the ball into the net.

Only two minutes later, it was already 0-2 for the away team. This time, a fantastic shot from around 25 meters was taken by Nikolić and the ball ended once again in the stretch of Voša’s goal.

However, Vojvodina quickly reduced the score, as in the 66th minute Kokir got the ball in Voždovac’s penalty box, went dribbling and then got tackled by one of the opponents, so the referee Aleksandar Živković called a penalty for red and whites. The penalty was taken by Nikolić, who scored a goal and thus returned the uncertainty into the match.

Until the end of the game, it was played mostly on the half of Voždovac, but Vojvodina’s players hardly managed to create a real chance in front of the goal. The Belgraders successfully defended and won three points in this match.
