The players of the two teams went on the pitch in T-shirts on which it was written “I am a donor too”, by which in a symbolic way wanted to draw public attention to the importance of organ donation, which can save many people in crucial moments.

Immediately afterwards, the director of the media sector of the Football Association of Serbia, Nebojša Petrović, handed out the latest models of the watch brand G Shock to the players of Vojvodina, Ognjen Đuričin and Nikola Drinčić, as an award for the most beautiful goals scored in the second and 10th round of the Super League of Serbia.

After the awards ceremony, players and everyone present at the stadium held a minute of silence as an honor to Milorad Milivojević, a former long-time FK Vojvodina’s masseuse and member of the staff in the season when the second league title was won, and who recently passed away in Novi Sad at the age of 83.

When the match started, Vojvodina had a great opportunity to take the lead in the second minute, but after a strike by Stojkovic, the ball hit the post of Spartak’s goal. Only 10 minutes later, after a good pass by Matić, Đuričin had a chance, but his shot was saved by goalkeeper Dokić.

A new chance was waited until the 18th minute, when Drinčić took a free kick and Matić sent a header from around three meters distance, but the ball went several inches away from the goal range. However, six minutes later, the red and whites managed to take the lead.

After a cross into the penalty box, Nikolić with a header passed the ball to Bojić, who sent it under the crossbar of goalkeeper Dokić with a precise shot from around seven meters distance.

Already in the 41st minute, it was 2-0 for Voša. This time, Drinčić took the corner kick, one of the away players tried to clear the ball with his head, but it came straight to Nikolić, who with a header from three meters distance easily managed to sent it into the net.

On the other hand, Spartak could have responded in the 45th minute, but after Dunđerski’s cross and a header from Denković, the ball went past Vojvodina’s goal. The team from Subotica had an even better chance in the 71st minute, when again Denković had an opportunity to defeat Rockov, but the goalkeeper of Vojvodina managed to save his goal.

Until the end of the match, it was played openly on both sides, but only a few half-chances were seen. Despite the lead, the ball was more often in the possession of Vojvodina, which was closest to the new goal after Drinčić’s shot from long range, when Dokić reacted well and saved the goal.

The result remained unchanged, so victory in the 60th Vojvodina’s derby went to Vojvodina.
