After the victory of his team against Radnički, the Manager of Vojvodina, Nenad Lalatović, stated that the players showed how they are fighting for the Old Lady and called on the club’s management to pay them the debts from the previous period.

Today, Vojvodina has beaten Radnički 0-1 (0-1), in the 16th round of the Serbian Super League.

– It is obvious that Radnički started to play much better after the arrival of my colleague. In each of my interviews, I have always said that he is, above all, an unobtrusive man, and certainly one of the best coaches in the Super League. I responsibly claim that. Radnički’s team was aggressive from the beginning and wanted to bring their coach the first victory, but they did not succeed in that, because we also played hard and aggressively – says Lalatović.

In addition to the goal scored, Voša had two more great chances.

– I think we could have solved the game in the first half. After a nice action, we scored a goal, and then Zukić dribbled the player and, instead of scoring a goal, he played a pass, and that was where the game could be solved. He is a young guy, he is 19 years old and he still likes to have fun, so we questioned the game. I told the players that we will have a lot of space in the second half, because Radnički will go for all or nothing, as it was – Lalatović points out.

In the second half, possession of the ball was more often on the side of Radnički’s players.

– We stood well in the block and defended ourselves in an organized manner. Radnički lacked a better finishing pass to endanger us, and we were able to solve the match again when Bojić hit the post from two or three meters. However, we did not concede a goal, we won all three points and remained in the high third position. I will repeat once again that I am very proud of my players, and although we have a Board of Directors and other people who love Vojvodina, today only Đorđe Sokić, Tomislav Knezević and Mladen Kukić were in Niš. If the management already does not give salaries to these players, at least they should support them – Lalatović notes.

He reiterated that the players are owed two salaries, as well as rates and bonuses for winning the Cup and qualifying for the Europa League.

– I will talk about this at every conference, as long as my guys don’t get the money. I live with them, I know what we talked about today and I know how they feel. They are disappointed, even though I know there is a problem everywhere. We have the general sponsor Srbijagas, a large company headed by Mr. Bajatović, but he can’t do everything himself. If there is a problem between them, let them sit down and talk. Let the City intervene a little, because they were also proud when we won the Cup. Unite and emulate how the employees of FC Vujadin Boškov, the players and I united. We live as one family and we die for this coat of arms – says Lalatović.

The Manager of Vojvodina believes that the management of the club must pay the debts to the players and employees by the next game.

– Now they should show how much they love Vojvodina. Show it to the fans, the players who deserve it the most, the employees who prepare our food, maintain the pitches, clean, wash, etc. It is a family that has not received a salary for two months. This is exactly the reason why this is a great victory of my players, because I told them that I want us to be an example to them of what it looks like when the family stays together. Today, we died for our fans, for the city of Novi Sad, for the north of Serbia and for every Serb who loves Vojvodina. We have shown that people, when they unite, can get out of the problem stronger – Lalatović points out.

He emphasized once again that the club can hardly move forward if the players and employees do not have a regular income.

– I am sorry for these guys, because they did not deserve it, as well as the employees of FC Vujadin Boškov, who work for 30-40 thousand dinars. There are many powerful people in Novi Sad and northern Serbia, including those who run our city. In the last year, the children who used to support Red Star and Partizan, again, because of the good results, started cheering for Vojvodina, which is good for Serbia and Serbian football. That’s why I tell everyone to ignore who doesn’t talk to whom, because I don’t even care. Let them make one meeting and let them finally pay off what is owed. My players are my family and I am ready to die for them, but I will fight until the last day to get what belongs to them – Lalatović notes.

Except for some players from the former SFRY, in Vojvodina mostly play players born in Serbia.

– I am a Serb, I live in a great Serbia and I love my country and my people. I fight for my guys, not for Albanians, or I don’t know who. I am fighting for Serbs and for Serbian families to get what belongs to them. There are hundreds of Serbian families in FC Vujadin Boškov who are owed salaries, and the club is run by powerful people. It was important for them to take pictures when we won the trophy, so now let them pay what they owe – said Lalatović.

In the next round, Vojvodina will play against Mačva from Šabac at home.
