The wonderful news today delighted all those who fought in the previous months and tried to raise as much money as possible for the treatment of one-year-old Lana Jovanović from Beočin. According to her family, all 2.4 million dollars were collected, which is the amount needed for the medicine necessary to fight spinal muscular atrophy. Lana will stay in the hospital in Belgrade for some time, after which she will travel to America for treatment and therapy.
This large sum of money was collected in the previous period thanks to many humanitarian actions and voluntary contributions from many people with a big heart, including the contribution of the football club Vojvodina, its players, fans and children from the Youth Academy. In that way, it was once again shown that, with good will and faith, nothing is impossible, and that humanity and togetherness can overcome any obstacle.
Football club Vojvodina uses this opportunity to thank everyone who participated in humanitarian actions, and our Lana to recover as soon as possible and finally defeat this vicious disease.
