In front of around 500 spectators at Karađorđe, the only goal on the match was scored by Čović in the 70th minute.
The teams played in the following lineups:
Vojvodina: Rockov – Graovac, Veselinović, Saničanin, Devetak – Mitošević, Zlomislić (from 71st Milojević) – Nešković, Đurić (from 78th Gojkov), Zukić (from 74th Gajić) – Matić.

From the very beginning of the game, it was played very aggressively and openly on both sides, as both teams showed a desire to first come into the lead. However, for the first real chance, it was waited until the 42nd minute, when Vojvodina had an opportunity to score. After a corner kick for red and whites, the ball fell into the penalty box of Proleter, and Zukić came to it and made a shot from around seven-eight meters distance. However, on the way to the net, the ball hit one of the players of the away team and ended up outside the goal range.
In the second half, Voša showed even more engagement, so it had another great chance in the 58th minute. On the left side of the pitch, Nešković brilliantly dribbled his guard and centered, and Matić hit the ball with his head from only one or two meters away from the goal, but the ball hit the outside of the net. Immediately in the next minute, Mitošević had a good shot from around 20 meters, but the ball passed a few inches apart from the post.
On the other hand, practically from its first dangerous attack, Proleter came into the lead in the 70th minute of the match. In the middle of the pitch, Bempah took away the ball from Zlomislić and passed it to Čović, who headed forward and then shot from around 20 meters, sending the ball under the bar of Rockov’s goal.
Already in the 75th minute, Vojvodina could equalize. After the corner kick taken by Milojević, header was sent by Graovac, but goalkeeper Elesin reacted well and prevented the ball from going into the net. It turned out that this was also the last chance for red and whites to gain one point in this match, as in the remaining 15 minutes there were no more chances for scoring. The result remained 0-1, so Proleter thus achieved its first victory in official matches against Vojvodina.
