The head of staff of Vojvodina FC, Miroslav Tanjga, analyzed the overall performance in the season, after the match against Partizan FC.

  • The way we played throughout the season…Then you come into the situation to ‘’save yourself’’ in the last 2-3 rounds, which we couldn’t do, however. We lost points to the teams who are no longer in the League, or are playing barrage at our home pitch…and then we come to the point where we are trying to get to Europe through Partizan – Tanjga said.

What followed was the analysis of the performance in Humska.

  • In the first half, we were missing plenty of things in our game. And, we talked about that all these days before the match. We played with no aggression and desire…I cannot believe that we received such cheap goals. The first one, from 35 meters, which I think could have been defended, and the second goal – we allowed the player to shoot from 20 meters. In the second half, we started playing a bit, but again we received a goal which was inexplainable. We had so many chances during the entire match, but in the ended we deserved to lose.

Vojvodina will not be playing in the European competitions next season.

  • We paid the price for the entire championship. We had all the cards in our hands a few times…We can always regret not playing Europe, but we haven’t done anything to secure that place in Europe. This season should be a warning and a lesson for the next one – Miroslav Tanjga concluded.
