Vojvodina player Dejan Zukić was chosen as the best player of the 24th round of the Mozzart Bet Super League of Serbia by the choice of the Super League and its general sponsor, the company Mozzart Bet.

The Vojvodina player will also receive 50,000 dinars from the Mozzart company to hand over as aid for humanitarian purposes, to whomever he deems in need.

For a long time, Dejan Zukić was talked about as a great talent of Vojvodina, his “boom” was hinted at, but only occasional glimpses of that bomb were seen. Not the real explosion.

Something, it seems, broke in him during the winter preparations, because his games improved drastically compared to the lackluster autumn in the Mozzart Bet Super League. Against Radnik, although Vojvodina did not win at home (1-1), Zukić played an excellent game, he even reached an index of 254, which was by far his highest of the season.

And that was just a hint of a great game at Čair. Vojvodina overcame Radnički (4-1), and Dejan Zukić was the brightest star of the game with two scored goals. He had 79 percent of correct passes, three won balls and finally, a new record index – 257.

The new coach Radoslav Batak moved Zukić forward a bit and the young footballer repaid him with perhaps the best match of his career in the Mozzart Bet Super League, and Vojvodina was struggling.

Zukić had an excellent competitor for the title of player of the round in Taras Bondarenko, a double scorer for Radnik against Voždovac (2-0), but the difficulty of the game prevailed in favor of the Vojvodina footballer, the victory in the middle of Čair.

Apart from Zukić, the ideal team of the 24th round of the Mozzart Bet Super League of Serbia included another player from Vojvodina, central back Uroš Vitas.
