Today, the fans of Vojvodina handed over financial aid for the treatment of ten-month-old Lana Jovanović from Beočin, who suffers from spinal muscular atrophy.
A total of 1,100 euros and 120,000 dinars were collected from the sale of T-shirts made especially for the match against Standard, as well as from voluntary contributions from Vojvodina fans, and that money was handed over to Lana’s father Dimitrije Jovanović.
In the presence of players and members of the staff, before the start of today’s training in FC Vujadin Boškov, he was handed a framed T-shirt made for the match against Standard, signed by all players of the Old Lady.
In an emotional address to the audience, Dimitrije Jovanović expressed great gratitude to Vojvodina and its fans, and they, just like the players, wished Lana to recover as soon as possible and promised jim that they would continue to raise funds for her recovery.
So far, 1.75 million dollars have been collected for the help of Lana Jovanović, and a total of 2.5 million is needed for the medicine that is needed to cure her.
