Starting from the 2021/22 season, which starts this week, in all matches in the Serbian Super League will be applied VAR technology, which is already widely used in the strongest European leagues, as well as in major football competitions.

Therefore, conditions for the establishment of VAR technology had to be created at every stadium where the matches of the Serbian Super League will be played in the upcoming season, so that was the case at the Karađorđe stadium this summer as well.

Moreover, the football club Vojvodina was the first club in Serbia to install a VAR system at its stadium, and the testing was successfully performed on July 6 in a match between the selections of the younger categories.

For the needs of the VAR system, two additional camera platforms have been installed on the west stand of Karađorđe, and one mobile platform on the east stand will be used for the same purpose.
