Kuntić: We drew some lessons from the last defeat, and deserved to win today against TSC

The coach of Vojvodina FC, Zoran Kuntić believes that his team deserved this victory against TSC and the placement to the Cup finale.

Players of the Old Lady secured placement to a new Cup finale, and the coach of Vojvodina FC, Zoran Kuntić congratulated TSC on their huge fight and an excellent match.

• It was not easy for us ten days ago when we lost to TSC in the championship match at Karađorđe, and then I congratulated them on the result and that victory. Today, I would also like to continue being a sportsperson, and congratulate the rival on a good and feisty match. It was a true Cup game; we knew the significance of the match. We opened the game well, scored a goal in time, and the defence rose to our expectations. The last time we lost I said that it would be good to draw some lessons, and I think that we had, and that we showed that tonight against TSC, and at the previous match against OFK. TSC has some good and experienced players, technically excellent, but I think that our staff excellently responded to that defeat, because today we showed an entirely different game. Aside from two goals, we had plenty of good chances, and I think that we deserve to be in the Cup finale – Kuntić said.

In the finale of the Serbian Cup, Vojvodina will play against the team of the Red Star on May 22^nd.
