After a two-week break due to the obligations of the national team, this weekend continues the competition in the Super League of Serbia. Until the beginning of the play off and play out, three rounds remained, and Voša, according to some calculations, with three victories can go among the top eight teams on the table and with that achieve its primary goal before the start of this half-season.
The good thing for red and whites is that nine points from the upcoming three games will almost certainly lead them to the play off, but the bad news is that these nine points will be very hard to win, given that the Old Lady first has two away fixtures against Dinamo and Radnik, and then a clash against Partizan at Karađorđe.
However, the Manager of Vojvodina Radovan Krivokapić points out that his players are currently concentrating only on the first upcoming match against Dinamo in Surdulica.
– During this mini-break, we worked well and quality and we were preparing for the next week, which is very important for us. We want to start with a positive result from this first game, by which I mean victory, in order to break the negative series and finally achieve the first triumph this spring. I hope that this will be a new start and that we will finish this regular part of the season as successfully as possible. Of course, as long as there is a chance to achieve the goal and reach the play off, we will fight for it – Krivokapić says.
He appreciates the team of Dinamo, which is playing better this spring and achieves better results than it was the case in the autumn part of the season.
– We will have an opponent against us who also wants to win and who need points in the fight against relegation, which is an aggravating circumstance for us. Beside that, the problem is that the field in Surdulica is a little smaller than the standard one, which may be more convenient for them than for us. However, we will have to adapt to the conditions and show our rival from the start that we want to win. During the break, we had problems with injuries, so for a longer period we will not be able to count on Đuričin and Seku, while Eze is still questionable, since he has not trained enough in the previous days. At today’s training, we will see whether he will be ready for the match, while all the other players who had minor injuries are again in training and I count on them for this match – says Krivokapić.
According to him, it is possible that Voša faces Dinamo in the formation with two strikers.
– There is such a possibility, because practically we no longer have anything to calculate, which of course does not mean that we did something like that before. At this point, I would not talk about what kind of formation we will play tomorrow, but the option with two strikers certainly exists – Krivokapić said.
The match between Dinamo and Vojvodina is set for tomorrow at 3 PM at Radnik Stadium in Surdulica. The squad of Voša will go to Surdulica today after the training, and due to the fact that in the same place they expect a match against Radnik on Wednesday, the team will not return to Novi Sad until then, but will remain in Surdulica and in the meantime train at the auxiliary pitch of FK Radnik. The return to Novi Sad is planned for Wednesday night.
At the same time, football club Vojvodina informs the sports public that the funeral of the former player of Old Lady Dragan Bošnjak, who passed away yesterday, will be held on Saturday at 1 PM at the Novi Trandžament cemetery in Petrovaradin.
