In the 26th round of the Super League of Serbia, tomorrow Vojvodina will be playing against Napredak in Kruševac. After four defeats in the first four rounds of the second part of the season, Voša is in a very bad position on the table and its placement in the playoffs is endangered. For this reason, the victory in Kruševac would be very significant for red and whites, both due to the improvement of the points situation, and also by raising the morale of the team ahead of the forthcoming challenges.
Manager of the “old lady” Radovan Krivokapić points out that the situation is not easy, but that he and his players have no other solution than to give their maximum in the next matches so the results would much better than before.
– First of all, I want to thank for the support I received from my former teammates, our old fans from Sremska Kamenica, Old Guard, Sector 6 in the West and, of course, our northern stand. It gives me the strength to continue further in these difficult moments through which we pass. Before the match against Spartak, my heart was fulfilled when I saw them all on the stands, just like after the game I felt a huge gap because we didn’t give them joy on the day we celebrated our birthday. For this reason, we have a great debt towards them to, if we can, win in Kruševac – says Krivokapić.
Voša does not expect an easy task against Napredak.
– The old story that it will not be easy has already become stereotyped. At this moment, the greatest strength of Napredak is that it has an extremely experienced Manager, from whom much can be learned. Also, although I do not have the habit of highlighting individuals, this time I would mention our former player, Enver Alivodić, who is their engine on the pitch. I do not know in what condition he is and whether he will be able to play, but if he does, we will especially have to pay attention to him. Like us, Napredak is in a big crisis, it does not play well and has no expected results – Krivokapić says.
Regardless of the fact that his team had four losses in the previous four games, the Manager of the “old lady” emphasizes that red-whites will go for victory in Kruševac.
– I told the players that there should be no heads down, since we have to go further. Life and especially football are such, cruel and mean. I am a great fighter in my life, I was such a player and I will be like that as a coach, so I will not give up or hide behind anybody. I’m going further and I’m not going to look back at what happened in the past few days, although, of course, attention should be drawn to everything that was bad. We will try to get back from Kruševac with three points. It is easy to be good in the good, but the heroes are heroes when it is tough. This is my message for everyone – Krivokapić pointed out.
