After his team’s draw against Javor, Vojvodina’s Manager Nenad Lalatović said he is not happy with the performance of red and whites, especially in defense.
Vojvodina played a 2-2 draw today against Javor, in the 13th round of the Super League of Serbia.
– Congratulations to Javor on a well deserved point. I resent all my players for playing very, very bad defensively today. Today we didn’t look like the team we were in previous games. We cannot allow ourselves to receive such goals, especially the second one, when we were 45 meters away from our goal and their player has escaped our entire back line already during receiving the ball. Instead of making a foul immediately, we race with him, and when you receive a goal in that way, the opponent deserves a point. I am dissatisfied, but what I have, I will tell my players in the locker room – says Lalatović.
In the next round, Vojvodina will play against Inđija at Karađorđe.
– We have to turn to the next game against Inđija, because every point is important to us, and the league is really even. We have many young players, and today Veselinović, Devetak, Zukić, Topić and Nešković were on the pitch. Before the game I said that Javor has a good team and that they didn’t win against TSC by accident, but we definitely have a much bigger problem when we play at home than away. It is up to me to solve this problem, so that in the next round we can beat Inđija, and in the fight for Europe, this one point is important to us too – said Lalatović.
The match between Vojvodina and Inđija will be played on Wednesday at Karađorđe, starting at 6 pm.
