Vojvodina’s young central back, 17-year-old Milan Majstorović, signed a contract with Dinamo Moscow.

Majstorović was born on February 21, 2005, he passed all the younger categories of the Old Lady, and a year and a half ago he was in the first team’s preparations, but he still hasn’t made an official appearance for Vojvodina.

Also, he is a standard member of the U-17 national team of Serbia, with which he reached the semi-finals at the recently held European Championship.

He will stay in Vojvodina until February 2023, when he will become an adult and after that he will officially join his new club in Moscow.

This transfer was realized after long and successful negotiations with the sports director of the Moscow club Željko Buvač, and the football club Vojvodina will also receive a percentage of the next transfer of Milan Majstorović along with the agreed compensation.

– This is a transfer we can all be proud of because all three parties to the contract are very satisfied. The funds we received from the transfer of Majstorović are not insignificant, but we are very satisfied with the fact that the football club Vojvodina remained a participant from the player’s next transfer in a very high percentage, which the club’s management set as a priority during negotiations with Dynamo from Moscow. On behalf of FK Vojvodina, I wish Majstorović every success in his career – said Vojvodina sports director Marko Jovanović.

With this transfer, the football club Vojvodina once again proved to be a breeding ground for exceptional talents, with the potential for the greatest football goals, and also, it is believed that Majstorović will be just one of many future stars who have grown up in the Ilija Pantelić Youth Academy.
