Vojvodina player Vladimir Miletić extended his contract with the Old Lady today until June 2025.

19-year-old Miletić grew up in Red Star, and then joined the youth team of Vojvodina in the summer of 2020. He made his debut for the first team in the 2020/21 season and has made 14 appearances for the Old Lady so far.

Sports director of Vojvodina Marko Jovanović expressed his satisfaction with this signing.

– We are proud that Miletić has extended his loyalty to the club, because he is a talented and young player, also a youth representative of Serbia. We expect him to make a breakthrough already this season and to help us achieve our goals, which we set at the beginning of the season. He plays in the position of defensive midfielder and in this last game against Radnički in half an hour he brought something to our game that we expect from him. We believe that in the future he will manage to fight for a place in the starting 11 and get a call-up for the U-21 Serbian national team – said Jovanović.

He added that after this signing, Vojvodina plans two more reinforcements until the end of the transfer window.

– We are in negotiations with two more players, we are close to an agreement and I hope that we will make their signatures official today or on Monday at the latest – revealed Jovanović.

Vladimir Miletić thanked the club for the trust shown.

– I am glad that I signed a new contract and I am grateful to the club for the trust shown. Expectations in Vojvodina are always high, and with the arrival of the new administration, they are even higher and I will do my best to help achieve common goals – said Miletić.
