After yesterday’s friendly match against Slavia Sofia, the players of Vojvodina ran on the pitch again this morning. More precisely, only one group of players trained in the Susesi sports center today, mostly those who did not play yesterday or had less minutes, while the players who played most of the match against Slavia, as well as those who feel minor injuries, trained at the gym.

In rainy weather, as has been the case in Belek for three days, the players who ran on the pitch first did the usual warm-up exercises, after which they practiced the shot and the finish in “one on one” situations with the goalkeeper. Also, apart from other players, in one part of the training, the goalkeepers, under the leadership of coach Milan Jovanić, did strength and explosive strength exercises. As in the previous two or three days, Nikola Simić, Nemanja Toroman and the recently arrived member of the U-18 team of Vojvodina, Milan Vidaković, had goalkeeping training, considering that Goran Vukliš and Željko Brkić are still not completely ready.

The players of Vojvodina will have free time this afternoon, and a friendly match against the U-18 team of Lokomotiv Moscow was planned for tomorrow. However, by the decision of the Manager of Vojvodina, Nenad Lalatović, that match will not be played. The coach of Vojvodina planned to give the opportunity to two lineups to play 90 minutes each in the remaining two games, against Lokomotiv and Akhmat, but considering that three players are absent due to the invitation to the national team, and that there are several others who feel minor injuries, it is practically impossible to put together two different teams for two games. In order to avoid the risk of someone being seriously injured and spare some players the effort to play two matches in two days, Vojvodina’s boss decided to cancel the match against Lokomotiv, so Voša will only play the match against Akhmat until the end of the preparations, and that will be the day before the return to Novi Sad.

Yesterday, the president of the Assembly of the club, Milan N. Đukić, joined the FK Vojvodina expedition in Belek, and he came to support the team in the preparations. He watched yesterday’s match against Slavia and will stay with the team until the return to Novi Sad, which is planned for Friday.
