In the 17th round of the Mozzart Bet Super League of Serbia, Vojvodina welcomes Mladost GAT at Karađorđe on Saturday at 8 p.m.

On this occasion, at the elementary school Kosta Trifković in Novi Sad, Voša held a press conference before this match today, where the head of the Old Lady coaching staff Milan Rastavac and captain Stefan Đorđević addressed the media representatives, as well as the students.

– We have a game ahead of us in which we have an obligation to show ourselves as an absolutely dominant team. It will not be easy for us, but we have all the prerequisites to show our true face. I believe that with the support of a large number of our fans, we will succeed in our intention and that we will register another significant victory – said coach Milan Rastavac.

In the first meeting at the beginning of the season, Vojvodina beat Mladost with a score of 4-0, but Rastavac expects a completely different game.

– I think this will be a different game than the first one, both because of the players who played in the first one, but also because of the aspects of the game in our first duel. Mladost is in better shape than at the beginning of the season, and on the other hand, we also want to repeat our positive things from the previous one. The tempo of the game will depend on how many chances we create. I hope that we will manage to open the game on time and that it will go in the way that suits us – said Rastavac.

He confirmed that there are certain personnel problems in the team and that he still does not know which players he will be able to count on.

– During this week we had some problems with the stomach virus. Some have already passed the virus, some did not train today, but I am sure that those who will be available will show that we can count on them – emphasized Rastavac.

When asked if he now has a clearer picture of the starting 11 than at the beginning of the season, Rastavac answered that rotations were necessary in one part of the season.

– I can say that we are in a similar situation, with different problems at the beginning and end of this half-season. In the beginning, we were looking for those 11 that would work best together, and the second part of the half-season, due to the condensed schedule, showed us that certain rotations are necessary. It was clear that we will not always see the same starting 11, but we are closer to the idea of which are the best 11 on the field – concluded Milan Rastavac.

Captain Stefan Đorđević pointed out that the team has come out of the result crisis and that victory in front of the home fans is imperative.

– It will not be easy for us, but we are playing in front of our fans and that is why we are positive before this match. We still have three championship games left, we know what our goal is and we are going to achieve it. The most important thing is that we got out of the result crisis, we won in Kruševac, and now we have the obligation to tie another triumph in front of our fans, as well as in the next matches until the break. I would like to use this opportunity to invite our fans to fill the stands, this year they have already shown that they are our 12th player – said captain Stefan Đorđević.
