After the defeat of his team from Novi Pazar, the assistant coach of Vojvodina, Dragan Šarac, stated that the unprecedented decline in the game of the red and whites in the second part of the first half ruled in favor of the home team.
Today, Vojvodina was defeated by Novi Pazar with the result 3-1 (3-0), in the 10th round of the Serbian Super League.
– Congratulations to the team of Novi Pazar on the deserved victory. We entered the game very well and in the first 20 minutes we had chances that we did not use. In the next 25 minutes, we had an unprecedented drop in the game, and we conceded three goals from the half-counters and counters, although we pointed to that during this week. We left at half time with a deficit of three goals, after which we tried to change something with substitutions. We played a little better and scored a goal, and the opponent delayed the game a lot in the second half, because they had a result. I think the other 45 minutes were effectively played for 30 minutes. I wish Novi Pazar all the best in the continuation of the season – said Šarac, who did not want to comment on the situation from the 45th minute, when the Manager of Vojvodina, Nenad Lalatović, received a red card.
Next weekend, the regular league round will not be played in the Serbian Super League due to the national team break, and the league will be continued in two weeks, when Vojvodina will face Rad at home.
