After the victory over Novi Pazar last weekend, the players of Vojvodina turned to the preparations for the match against Napredak in Kruševac. That match will be played within the seventh round of the Serbian Super League, followed by a two-week break in the championship due to the obligations of the national teams, and six first-teamers of the Old Lady were invited to defend the colors of their country in the national teams.

Marko Bjeković, Mirko Topić and Dejan Zukić were invited to the U-21 national team of Serbia. The national team led by coach Zvonko Živković gathers on August 30 and is facing a new cycle of qualifications for the European Championship, in which the Eagles will first meet Ukraine on September 3 in Stara Pazova, and then face Northern Macedonia in Ohrid on September 7. Apart from Ukraine and Northern Macedonia, France, Armenia and the Faroe Islands are also in the group with Serbia.

On the other hand, the Manager of the U-20 national team of Serbia, Aleksandar Rogić, decided to invite the winger of Vojvodina, Vladan Novevski, to this selection. The U-20 national team of Serbia gathers on August 31, and on September 6, starting at 3 pm, it will play a friendly match against Italy in Castel di Sangro.

Also, Vladimir Miletić and Uroš Kabić will have representative obligations during the upcoming championship break, since they received an invitation from the Manager of the U-19 national team of Serbia, Dejan Branković, to perform at the 27th Stevan Vilotić Ćele memorial tournament. This year’s tournament will be held from September 3 to 7, and Serbia’s opponents will be Azerbaijan (September 3, 4:30 pm, City Stadium in Subotica), Montenegro (September 5, 4:30 pm, Milan Sredanović Stadium in Kula) and Hungary (September 7, 5 pm, City Stadium in Subotica). For the U-19 national team of Serbia, this memorial will serve as a preparation for the November (10th – 16th) qualifications for the European Championship.
