In the media center of FC Vujadin Boškov in Veternik, today was held a session of the Assembly of FK Vojvodina, and were made some important decisions regarding the selection of new people to the managerial and most responsible functions in the club.

The session was attended by 53 out of 55 members, who, after having noted the resignation of the current president of the club Dušan Vlaović, unanimously supported the proposal to appoint Vojislav Gajić, the owner of the company Aleksandar Gradnja to the new first man of the FK Vojvodina Management Board. For him, this will be the third term as the club’s president, since he had already held the same position in the season 2008/09 and then again from September to December 2016.

After re-election, he said that the club’s goal in the upcoming season is to qualify for the Europa League qualifications and that the team will be ready for the start of the season.

– I’m very excited for being in this place for the third time, although I am aware that I took great responsibility and that it will not be easy for me. I am proud of everything I have done for this club so far, but this is now all forgotten and we are starting from the beginning. Without communion there is no progress, because the club is not worth anything without the fans, but also without the players and the people who will lead it, and this session was postponed in the past few days precisely because we worked to achieve solidarity. I am not the supporter of the thesis that Vojvodina belongs to the top of the Serbian football, because to everyone belongs only what they earn with their work and effort, and therefore, from the start, we must dedicate ourselves to our goals, everyone in his domain and sector in which he can do the most – Gajić said.

In addition to him, in the Management Board of FK Vojvodina in the future will be Ljubomir Apro, Milan Đukić, Milan Đukić, Dragoljub Samardžić and Nikola Vasiljević. They were also members of the Management Board in the previous period, and besides them, for the first time in the Board of Directors was included Milan Davidov, former footballer and former president of the FK Vojvodina Assembly.

Also, at today’s meeting was confirmed the resignation of the former general manager of the club Darko Jevtić, and Dušan Bajatović, the so-far member of the FK Vojvodina Board of Directors, was appointed as his replacement, while instead of Saša Drakulić, the new Sports Director became Nikola Lazetić, former footballer of Vojvodina and former member of Serbia and Montenegro’s national team.

At the same time, at today’s meeting there was a change in the assembly itself, since the members of the highest club body are no longer Zoran Stojković, Miloš Radmilović, Dušan Letić, Živan Šljukić, Aleksandar Dunđerski, Milan Lazić, Marko Šparović, Ljubomir Subotin and Vladislav Kaćanski. Instead, new members of the FK Vojvodina Assembly became Aleksandar Šodić, Miloš Đukić, Vladimir Milutinović, Bojan Panjković, Bojan Vagić, Boris Godinski, Sima Sekulić, Boris Priselac and Milorad Mišić.

Addressing the audience, newly elected FK Vojvodina president Vojislav Gajić announced that the club will soon establish an Emergency Committee for quicker and better operativeness, in which, beside him, there will also be the new General Manager Dušan Bajatović and member of the board Nikola Vasiljević, and that the former general secretary of FK Vojvodina, lawyer Božidar Beronja, will again take part in the work of the club, although this time he will have the functions of president’s adviser and secretary of the board of directors.
