Vojvodina Football Club would like to inform the public that Miroslav Tanjga, the Club’s legend and the legend of Serbian football, will lead the team of Vojvodina for the next two seasons. The club is pleased with his engagement so far, his dedication, professionalism and energy that he brings into the everyday work with the team, and that is why the contact has been extended for two more seasons, until 2026/27.
With his approach, Tanjga showed that he shares the values of Vojvodina FC entirely, and with his authority, experience and knowledge he managed to introduce stability into the dressing room, and bring it onto the pitch, which the team had been missing in the past few years.
- Miroslav Tanjga showed that he possesses all the qualities that we want from a coach of Vojvodina, and those are charisma, maximum dedication and a relationship towards the players and the club that is above us all. We believe in his work, in the energy that he brings, and in the system that we are building together. For the stability of the team, continuity is necessary, and that is why we decided to keep him and additionally strengthen the team before the new season, in which our goals will be clear – fight for Europe and affirmation of the young football players from our football academy – the president of Vojvodina FC, Dragoljub Zbiljić stated.
Vojvodina FC is entering the very finish of the season, where they are expecting the duel against Partizan.
- With this we want to put an end to different media speculations, and get the much-needed peace before the last round of the championship – Zbiljić added.
The club will soon present a plan for the summer preparations, as well as the details regarding reinforcements for the next season.
