U-19 national team of Bahrain is currently preparing in Novi Sad, using FC Vujadin Boškov to hold its trainings and play friendly matches. This national team has been in Novi Sad since December 7 and is accommodated in the Sheraton hotel, where it will stay until December 22, when it is planned to return home.
During this afternoon, a cocktail party was organized for the representatives of the U-19 national team of Bahrain in the ceremonial hall of FC Vujadin Boškov, and the hosts were the president of FK Vojvodina Dragoljub Samardžić, secretary Aleksandar Vlaškalić and manager of Voša training center Mladen Kukić. In the presence of the director of the Sheraton hotel, Novak Bojanić, they welcomed the manager, coach and doctor of the U-19 national team of Bahrain.
On behalf of FK Vojvodina, they were greeted by the president of the Old Lady, Dragoljub Samardžić, who wished them a pleasant stay in Novi Sad.
– We want you to fully fulfill all the plans you have foreseen during this visit, and for all your needs, we are completely at your disposal. This is the best proof that football is the biggest and our favorite sport, because despite the difficult conditions in the world due to the corona virus, we were able to, no matter how far apart, be together today. In addition to playing football, we sincerely hope that, while you are here, you will find time to see our beautiful Novi Sad – said Samardžić, adding that Bahrain is a small but beautiful country, in which, just like in Novi Sad, live many national minorities.
Representatives of the U-19 national team of Bahrain thanked the president of FK Vojvodina for his kind words and hospitality, emphasizing that here they feel like at home and completely safe, which is most important to them every time when they go abroad for preparations.
They exchanged gifts with the president of FK Vojvodina, Dragoljub Samardžić, and then continued to socialize at a cocktail and talk about football and other topics.
