Voša attacked and won 1 point in the derby with Čukarički FC

The players of Vojvodina FC drew against the team of Čukarički with the result 1:1 in the 28^th round of Mozzart Bet Superleague of Serbia.

Mihailo Ivanović scored the only goal for Vojvodina FC in the 16^th minute.

Before the start of the match, coach and the staff members handed Stefan Đorđević the anniversary jersey with the number 100, because it was his 100^th game for the team of Vojvodina.

The teams performed in the following lineups:

Vojvodina: Carević, Bjeković (from the 83^rd Lazarević), Crnomarković, Korać, Đorđević, Petrović, Zukić (from the 83^rd Nikolić), Ivanović, Savićević (from the 57^th Campbell), Sery, Vukanović.

Čukarički: Filipović, Stanković, Stevanović, Jovanović, Tošić, Sissoko, Docić (from the 69^th Kovač), Nikčević (from the 70^th Adžić), Miladinović, Ivanović, Pavkov (from the 69^th Mello).

Even though Voša started the match offensively from the very beginning, Čukarički was the first to threaten, because Pavkov caught a half-volley from 20 meters, but Carević was in the right position.

Voša took the lead in the 16^th minute, from the first real and truly beautiful action led by Sery, who passed excellently on the left flank, and passed the ball to Bjeković, who with his left leg shot and found Ivanović on the second goal post, where Ivanović headkicked the ball into the further angle, and overpowered the goalkeeper Filipović.

A few minutes later there was a interruption, because Korać and Pavkov collided heads, so the medical teams had to intervene. That break of a few minutes seemed to have lulled the home players to sleep, because soon, in the 25^th minute Čukarički drew. After a double pass on the left side Docić found Miladinović, who received the ball to his chest, and then from the goal post from 15 meters overpowered Carević for 1:1.

Until the very end of the first half there were no other real chances, and then Voša threatened twice. First, Ivanović shot the first angle from the left side, but not strongly enough to overpower Filipović. A minute later, Zukić passed to Sery, who again excellently passed and sent a sharp ball through the penalty area, but failed to find his co-players.

Voša had a first good chance in the continuation of the match, in the 55^th minute Ivanović escaped the defence of Čukarički, the ball was dropped by the goalkeeper Filipović in a collision with Ivanović, but then the shot was blocked by Stevanović.

Ten minutes later, Voša had their new chance, Ivanović was once again in the spotlight, from the angle on the right side he shot into the goalpost. Voša’s pressure didn’t drop, on the contrary, in the middle of the second half Đorđević had a new chance, he freed himself from the guards with a fake, and shot the further angle, but Filipović was in the right position once again.

Čukarički had their first chance in the second half, in the 72^nd minute when Kovač from the left side shot next to the goalpost, after which the home team once again continued to attack. Bjeković was the one to have the next chance, he received the ball and then decided to shoot instead of pass, but he shot very badly.

In the very finish Čukarički managed to release themselves from the pressure of Vojvodina, and to transfer the game to the side of the home team, the guests threatened from the corner, and the best threat was by Mello, whose headkick was stopped by Carević.

In the added time Voša had their last and big chance when Nikolić received the ball on the second goalpost, and shot strongly next to the goal.

Until the end there were no result changes, Voša won a point after four consecutive wins, and in the next round they will be playing against the team of Železničar in Pančevo.
