Vojvodina played a draw 1:1 (1:0) against Mačva in the 19th round of the Super League of Serbia.
In front of about 500 spectators at “Karadjordje”, goal scorer for Voša was Arsić in 27, while the goal for Mačva was scored by Jovanović in the 87th minute.
The teams played in the following lineups:
Vojvodina: Rockov – Stojkovic (from 46. Lazarevic), Veselinovic, Sanicanin, Antic – Djuric, Milojevic – Djuricin (from 67. Gojkov), Arsic (87. Mesarovic), Vincent – Gajic.
Mačva: Puletić – Pejović, Tošić, Ivić, Jovanović – Obrovac (73. Đoković), Gavrić, Šušnjar, Ristivojević (from 24. Marić) – Adamović, Jeremić (from 54. Gemović).
The first chance in the game was seen in the seventh minute, when Gajic placed the ball well to Arsic, who made a shot from about 20 meters, but the ball passed by the post, just like eight minutes later, when a good volley kick from around 30 meters was sent by Stojkovic.
In the 16th minute, red and whites had a new chance, as Stojkovic pulled a great center-kick and Gajic jumped up well and made a header, but the ball was once again a few centimeters outside the goal area. Nevertheless, in the 27th minute, Vojvodina came to an advantage.
Djuric sent a magnificent pass into the penalty box from the half of the pitch, after which Arsic well received the ball and placed it in a net of the away team.
On the other hand, Mačva could return after four minutes, when Gavrić run well near Veselinović and shot from about seven meters away, but Rockov managed to save. In the second half, again Voša was the first to come forward in the 50th minute through Đuričin, who shot from a distance of about 10 meters, but the ball hit the outside of the net.
Đurić had the new good shot in 52 minute, when the ball went a few centimeters across the crossbar, and even better chance was seen only six minutes later. Vincent dribbled in the penalty area brilliantly through two Mačva’s players and made a shot, goalkeeper Puletić made a save, and the ball then came to Đuričin, who also made shot from a several meters distance, but the ball on the goal line hit one of the defending players of Mačva.
Vojvodina could easily reach the goal in the 65th minute, when Gajic accepted the ball on the edge of the penalty area and made a shot, but Puletic’s excellent parade kicked the ball into the corner. By the end of the match, the play took place in a calmer rhythm and mainly in the middle of the pitch, so no chances were created, until the 86th minute, when the shot of Šušnjar from around seven-eight meters again was masterfully saved by Rockov.
However, after a corner kick one minute later, Jovanovic scored from the penalty box of Vojvodina with a precise shot, which made the final result of the match.
