Vojvodina lost at their Karađorđe to the Red Star with the result 0-3 (0-2) in the 34th round of the Serbian Super League.

The teams performed in the following lineups:

Vojvodina: Rockov – Lazarević, Jeličić, Kovačević, Devetak – Topić (from 73rd Miletić), Zukić (from 79th Busnić) – Kabić, Simić, Vukadinović – Matić (from 73rd Vukčević).

Red Star: Borjan – Gajić (from 74th Picini), Eraković, Dragović, Rodić (from 74th Krstičić) – Sanogo (from 74th Motika), Srnić – Ben (from 74th Pankov), Kanga, Katai – Pavkov (from 48th Ohi).

In the second minute, the visiting team took the lead. After a corner kick from the right side, Pavkov shot with his head to a far corner, and the ball was hooked by Sanogo on the way to the net for 0-1.

Vojvodina threatened for the first time in the 10th minute. Kabić pulled the ball in the middle and shot from 20 meters to the bottom right corner, but Borjan intervened very well. Red Star fought back two minutes later, when Katai passed on the left flank and centered on the second goalpost, Gajić shot, and Rockov threw the ball into the corner kick.

A somewhat calmer period of the game followed, with a great fight in the middle of the field and no clear chances, and then in the 33rd minute, Katai scored the second goal for the Red Star. Srnić passed the ball to the lonely Katai on the left flank, the Red Star offensive player entered the penalty area and hit the first corner for 0-2.

Before going on break, Voša built a good chance after the action on the left side, but Simić shot over the goal from 15 meters and that was all in the first part of the game.

Voša opened the second half well, since in the 48th minute Zukić shot from around 18 meters, the ball bounced on the way to the goal, but it did not deceive Borjan. Two minutes later, Zukić tried again a shot from the edge of the penalty area, but this time it was more harmless for the well-placed Borjan.

Red Star had the first chance in the 55th minute, when Katai cut a short pass from Lazarević towards Rockov, and with a lob shot he missed the goal of Vojvodina. However, in the 71st minute, Katai was again more successful than Rockov. From a free kick from 20 meters, the Red Star player shot the corner of the goalkeeper of Voša, the ball bounced and ended up in the corner for 0-3.

Until the end, there was no change in the results, so Vojvodina remained in seventh place on the table with 42 points won.
