Red Star went on the offensive and already in the fifth minute, Bukari had the first shot, but Carević was on the spot. In the 10th minute, the goalkeeper of Vojvodina could do nothing, after a good action and an assist from Katai, Bukari sent the ball under the crossbar from the edge of the penalty area for 1-0.

Red Star was the more specific team on the field even before the break, as both Mitrović and Kanga shot shortly after the goal, but they were inaccurate. In the 21st minute, Bukari was again the main actor, after a solo breakthrough he shot the goalkeeper Carević in the face, after which he received medical help.

Until the break, Voša had several situations to prepare on the counter, but a better final pass was missing, so there was no danger of Milan Borjan’s goal. The last attempt in the first half was made by Katai, who shot obliquely from the left side to a well-placed Carević.

Radoslav Batak then decided to refresh the attack, he introduced Čumić immediately at the break, and then in the 56th minute, Baraye, and this tandem brought the tie. From the start, Čumić showed how dangerous he is in several situations when he received the ball, but in the 57th minute he passed and crossed, and Baraye scored with his head to make it 1-1. Unfortunately, he took a hit while landing, which forced him to leave the game, and already in the 62nd minute, Simić entered instead.

Red Star then took the initiative again, at the end of the 70th minute, after the break, Carević stood out with a new intervention, after an attempt by Eraković. Vojvodina retaliated in the next attack, Nemanja Nikolić had a chance, who found himself in a dangerous position, maybe he could have outplayed his teammates, but the action ended without any danger for Red Star’s goal.

The rhythm of the game was significantly better in the second half, especially in the finish, Mijatović tried on one side, Carević made an excellent save, and then Vojvodina threatened after a counterattack, Čumić shot diagonally across the goal from the left side.

In the last moments of the match, Red Star managed to get the second goal and victory, Kangwa accepted the ball and hit the corner from about 20 meters for the final 2-1.
