Vojvodina is recording excellent results this season as well. After the historic last season, in which the second Serbian Cup in the history of the club was won, the red and whites are playing great this season as well, and they are currently in second place on the table. As time passes, the number of those who believe that Voša can fight for the title this season is increasing, and from week to week, the players of coach Nenad Lalatović show that such predictions are not without cover.

Of course, all the fans of the Old Lady are happy with the good results, but also many of club’s former players, including the legendary Miloš Krasić, a player who came to the Youth Academy Ilija Pantelić as a child, and then played for the first team and built a brilliant international and representative career.

– As a former player and someone who spent a lot of time in FK Vojvodina, of course I follow the results of the club and everything that happens. I am very happy and satisfied with everything that the team provides and that is currently in second place in the table. Congratulations to everyone in the club on that and I think that Vojvodina deserves the support of the entire city, as well as of all of us who love the club – says Krasić.

He especially appreciates the Manager of Vojvodina, Nenad Lalatović, who became the coach with the most victories in the history of the club after the match against OFK Bačka.

– On this occasion, I congratulate him on entering the history of the club, and the results speak everything about him. We all know well where Vojvodina was when he took over the team. With a good selection of players in the meantime, he and his work have exceptionally contributed to Vojvodina being a far stronger and more serious team now – Krasić points out.

Against OFK Bačka, the young Uroš Kabić made his debut for the first team of Vojvodina at the age of only 16, which, in a way, follows the footsteps of Miloš Krasić, because as a 16-year-old he also made his debut for the first team of Voša back in 2001.

– Of course, I remember my debut for Vojvodina. At that time, coach Dragoljub Bekvalac included me in the first team, and everyone who trains football dreamos of playing for their club at the senior level as well. In addition to immeasurable happiness and admiration, there is always a certain amount of nervousness in such situations, and I can only say that I hope that in the future many players from our Youth Academy will play in the first team of Vojvodina – said Krasić.

The former prominent member of the Serbian national team wished the players of Vojvodina a lot of luck and even better results in the continuation of the season.
