After the defeat of his team against Partizan, Vojvodina’s Manager, Radovan Krivokapić, said that young players who today got the opportunity to play for the Old Lady in the future will bring good results to the club.
Vojvodina was defeated today against Partizan by 1-2 (1-1), in the clash of the 6th round of the play-off of the Super League of Serbia.
– I think that today Partizan was better for this one goal, although you could see very young team of Vojvodina on the pitch. We did what I’ve been saying for the past few days and I’m so proud and happy because I saw these young players on the pitch today. For me personally, it’s a bigger success than placement in the play-off, and I hope that it is like that for the club too, because this is the future and something that will bring results to Vojvodina in the upcoming period. During the game, there were periods when we played well and controlled the game, but I have to say that this time the experience of Partizan and it’s players who entered the game in the second half and brought a change, decided this match. Nevertheless, I think we played a good game. It’s unfortunate that we did not achieved a better result, but for me it’s more important the fact that you could see a set of young players, and by this I congratulate those who debated for our first team today. In the last round against Čukarički, you will see some new faces again – said Krivokapić.
In the last round of the play-off of Serbian Super League, Vojvodina will face Čukarički in Belgrade, and this match will be played on Sunday, starting at 6 PM.
