After the victory of his team over Spartak, Vojvodina’s boss Nenad Lalatović said he is pleased with what the red and whites showed, although he yet expects good and quality games.

Vojvodina defeated Spartak today by 2-1 (1-1) in a friendly match played in Veternik.

– I’m always happy when the game is won. This is only our second game, which we have entered from hard training, so I am pleased with the commitment, desire, will and rhythm we had. Of course, I’m still not happy with the performance, because we have to do a lot better, but given that we only train for two weeks and that the players are too tired, I think it looked good today – says Lalatović.

In the second half, on the right-back position, for Vojvodina played Constantin Nika, 26, who was a member of the Romanian Voluntari last half-season and is currently on a trial among red and whites.

– It can be seen that he has had a long break and that he is unprepared, but it is also evident that he has quality, so now we have to make a decision on whether or not he will go with us to Turkey. The list of travelers to Turkey is practically crystallized, although we have to bring another central back, since for now there we have only Saničanin and Đurić. Veselinović is injured and Stojsavljević is a young player and he should be the future of our club. At the moment, we need another experienced central back – said Lalatović.

Vojvodina footballers will also train at FC Vujadin Boškov tomorrow, as on Friday they leave for a two-week preparations in Turkey.
