The player of the Luxembourg’s national team, Seid Korać, is the fourth reinforcement of Vojvodina FC in this winter transfer window.

The 22-year-old centre-back was born in Luxembourg, but he also has Serbian citizenship. He arrives to Vojvodina from the Swedish first-leaguer Degerfors.

He took his first football steps in Luxembourg in Rodange, which he left in the summer of 2020 when he transferred to the academy of the German Nuremberg. After a year in Germany, he went to the Danish Esbjerg, and then in the summer of 2022 he went to the Akritas from Cyprus, on a loan transfer.

He left Denmark last summer when he moved to his latest club, Degerfors, where he played 29 matches, and scored 1 goal. Also, he performed for all youth selections of the national team of Luxembourg, and played four matches for the A team of Luxembourg.

  • It is my great pleasure to arrive to a club as great as Vojvodina. I am sure that we will be successful and win plenty of trophies. I have been following Serbian football in general, as well as the Super league. Also, I watched Vojvodina’s match against APOEL last summer. I know some players, and I know how their careers developed, so I am happy that we will share the same locker room. I am happy that I will start training with them immediately upon their return to Novi Sad, and I hope to adapt fast, and then together with them, start winning for Vojvodina – Korać stated.

He believes that his rich international experience will make his period of adaptation at Karađorđe much easier.

  • I gained extensive experience in Sweden, played a lot of games and I am happy with the way I played, even though we were not successful. Now I am here, maximally focused on Vojvodina – Seid Korać concluded.

Before Seid Korać, Vojvodina had 3 other reinforcements this winter, namely: Dragan Rosić, Vukan Savićević, and Njegoš Petrović.

Korać arrives as a replacement for Lazar Rosić, with whom Vojvodina reached an agreed termination of contract after six months, and wishes him a lot of happiness in his future career.
