The players of Vojvodina are training hard for days at FC Vujadin Boškov and are preparing for the challenges that await them in the next season. The beginning of the season in the Serbian Super League is scheduled for the first of August, and in the first round, Voša is expected to play against TSC in Senta.

In the meantime, the management of the club and the boss, Nenad Lalatović, are working intensively on completing the team for the next season, so it can certainly be expected that there will be more arrivals and departures in the Old Lady this summer. For now, the only one who joined the red and whites is the young 17-year-old Vladimir Miletić from Red Star, with the proviso that he will play for the U-18 team of Vojvodina next season, and the only one who left is the goalkeeper Emil Rockov, who will defend the colors of the Hungarian Fehervar in the future.

However, the fans of the Old Lady do not have to worry, since Voša already has a ready replacement on the goal, and that is a 23-year-old Nikola Simić, who became a member of the Old Lady on this very day, exactly two years ago. During that time, he was a real alternative to Rockov on the goal of Vojvodina, with which he managed to win the Serbian Cup.

– Of course, I am satisfied with the past two years and I have never repented for coming to Vojvodina. This is a big and organized club, which was seen at the end of last season, when we won the trophy. I hope that I will win them more in the Vojvodina jersey – says Simić.

Considering that Rockov made his transfer to Fehervar official yesterday, it is certain that Simić will have the opportunity to play continuously next season, especially since coach Nenad Lalatović believes that he has representative potential.

– First of all, I must say that I am glad for Emil, and on this occasion I congratulate him on moving to a new club and wish him all the best in his future career. As for me, I am certainly excited at the thought that I will be the first goalkeeper of Vojvodina next season, although I have yet to fight for that. It is a great responsibility, but I am ready to accept it. What is most important is the team and collective goals that we set in front of us – notes Simić.

Due to the current measures in Novi Sad regarding the epidemiological situation, the players of Vojvodina train divided into several groups.

– We manage as much as we can in this situation. We adhere to all instructions and measures that are in force, and in that way we try to take care of ourselves, but also of others. Besides, everything is going well. I believe that we will enter the next season well, since we want to win the trophy again – said Simić.
