Vojvodina has defeated Proleter with the result 2-0 (0-0), in the 19th round of the Serbian Super League.
In the match that was played without the presence of spectators at Karađorđe, the scorer of both goals was Vukadinović in the 52nd and 91st minute.
The teams performed in the following lineups:
Vojvodina: Vukliš – Andrić, Đurić, Devetak, Đorđević – Drinčić, Stojković – Zukić (from 46th Vukadinović), Čović, Gemović – Mrkaić (from 86th Bjeković).
Proleter: Petrić – Mitrović, Mirosavljev, Kovačević, Leandro – Ilić, Andrejević, Milošević, Babić – Živojinović (from 64th Knežević), Kojić (from 77th Galić).
Before the start of the match, a minute of silence was observed in honor of the recently deceased Manager of TSC, Zoltán Szabó, who was a player of Vojvodina from 1992 to 1996, and then performed the function of an assistant coach of the Old Lady on two occasions (2012 and 2016).
The first 100% chance in the match was seen in the 15th minute, and Proleter players had it. Mitrović shot from about five meters diagonally, Vukliš defended, and then Babić ran on the ball, but he missed the undefended net from two meters. On the other hand, in the 25th minute, Mrkaić fought back, with a shot from a turn from about eight to nine meters, but the ball hit the outside of the net.
However, in the 52nd minute, Vojvodina took the lead. Vukadinović accepted a great deep pass in Proleter penalty area and brought his team to the lead with a precise shot from about 11-12 meters diagonally.
From that moment, the game was played mostly in the middle of the pitch, so that in the 83rd minute, Galić had a great opportunity for the away team, but the ball went outside the goal of Vojvodina again. Until the end of the match, the team from Slana Bara tried to equalize even more agilely and thus avoid defeat, but it was Voša who changed the result again in the 91st minute.
After the counterattack, Gemović played a pass in front of the goal to Vukadinović, who just ran on the ball and scored the second goal for his team. Vojvodina thus ended 2020 with a victory, and this year will remain in the history of the club as the year in which the second trophy of the Serbian Cup was won.
